In reply to fleabit's post on June 6, Have a look at the KB that Brian linked, there are manual removal instructions. Unfortunately the manual instructions apply to removing registry entries after the uninstaller app has removed all the program files. The problem is that Microsoft has required that you insert the original Office 97 program disc before it will run the Office 97 uninstaller app that removes all the program files which is really what I want to get rid of to free up disc space.
So what I need is a way around this requirement. Office updates. Upgrade to the latest version. Troubleshoot and uninstall. Expand this section if you're not sure which installation type you have. Thanx 4 your help Dreamboat, but I think I might not have explained the problem clearly enough. Thought I'd mention it as it may B of use 2 someone else in the future.
